Pollution Can Change Your DNA in 3 Days, Study Suggests



















Breathing pollutants from air might cause serious damage in DNA only in 3 days; these could modified genes and increase the risks to suffer diseases like cancer. This study evaluated 63 steel factories workers in Italy. The tiny particles of dust, metal or fumes in the air are mainly the hazard because it can go deep into the lungs.

The result of breathe air pollutants are too dangerous for human health in future, the study says that the pollutants presents in human body are causing the decrease of gene groups in DNA that means an irregular process which affects the health increasing risks of develop lung cancer. The study took blood samples of the workers since the first day until the final day of the research and it prove that some gene groups had important changes that may help the increase of tumors.

Opinion



Again, we are victims of our own pollutants emissions. The human body could not resist this damage for long. The people’s genes were already damaged because we all in world have been exposed to air pollution. Diseases are coming and other particular health conditions if we don’t fight against this public health problem right now.
